I've got a 125G that has been up for 6 years:
FO/LR/4"LS w/plenum. (I'm one of the few left on boards still a firm believer of plenums).
Sump/Refugium w/Macro's on reverse daylight.
Recently replaced XL Berlin with AquaC skimmer.
Only additive is Argamight mixed in my top-off water....Periodic Water changes ~20% every couple of months.
Lights are 2x55 PowerCompacts. Pink
Coralline Algae throughout....
Inhabitants/yrs kept (all were juveniles to start): Emperor Angel/4yrs, Purple Tang/4yrs, Cleaner Wrasse/3yrs, Naso Tang/3yrs, Moorish Idol/2.5yrs,
My 40G "Hospital Tank" is currently housing a mated pair of true Percs/4yrs, a Flame Angel/3yrs and
Orchid Dottyback (Fridmani)/2yrs.
All (except Flame, which is going to another 'home'...that is one mean lil' sucker
)currently going to be moved to a 250G which is cycling today....same LS/Plenum setup and 150lb LR. Lit by additional 2x95w PCs (along with the 2x55s I have). Same skimmer will be used. Bigger 50G Refugium and second 50G sump (plumbed to the basement = nice & quiet
).
Pics coming in a 3-4 months once I get the 250 completed and livestocked moved.
