Supersonic Snail's Pace tank
Hello, everyone! I'm new here and didn't see a newcomer's thread so I'll use this to introduce myself and my tank.
I'm Barb, and my tank had LR put in on April 21, 2008. It's already loaded with corals. I've found I have no patience whatsoever, but I'm working on that! I live in Ohio, have four dogs, a cat, a husband, twin sons and a <beautiful> daughter. I'm here from RS because most of my favorite-ist peoples are here. I can't be without them, they're like family!
My system is upstairs/downstairs, with DT on main floor and equipment room in the basement
Upstairs:
65g display
2-Koralia 3 ph's, that I'm not happy with, suggestions, anyone?
ACjr controller running lights, moonlights, temp probe only, powerheads on random movement
DIY 6x39w Sunlight Tek T5 HO
"The Package" LR, LS, cuc from TampaBaySaltwater
4-5" sandbed
Livestock: tridacna crocea clam (said I was impatient! so far it's doing well), flower anem ( came with LR ), lawnmower blenny, zebra goby (came with LR)
assorted coral frags; acan, trumpet, stylophora (2), brain, encrusting monti, monti confusa, monti cap, clove polyps, palm polyps, assorted ricordia florida, 1 zoa frag, gsp
Downstairs:
100g rubbermaid sump tub
500w heater, forget brand, hafta look! in sump
ASM G-2 skimmer in sump
20g long remote refugium, lit opposite display tank with PC lighting, with LR rubble, chaeto, DSB, LifeReef overflows into sump tub
Water General RO/DI unit 75g p/day
55g fw storage, unheated, unstirred
55g sw storage, heated, stirred, aerated
automated water change system, run with Maxijet 1200 pumps
Reeflo Barracuda return pump
TwoLittleFishies reactor running carbon 24/7 because of multiple coral additions
JBJ ATO controller
Soon to be added; Kalkwasser Reactor run through ATO system

I would like to, yes... I already have some monti's and the clam in there. I'm watching my calcium levels.. once they start to drop I'll probably add the reactor. So far, calcium and mg have been staying pretty stable.. ca at 420 and mg at 1280.

Hi, Chris and Thanks! I'm loving this hobby. Whiskey there helped me with my diy lighting, and I'm very happy with it. It was great fun, and diy'ing was brand new to me. It was a great experience and his help is so appreciated!

Hi, Whiskey! Wonder no more...here I am!
Back home from Jamaica and trying to readjust to Real Life.
Andrea did a great job caring for the tank... so nice to know I can leave it with her and it will be okay.

Jamaica!!! Did you get any pics?
It is always good to know that you have someone you can count on to care for things when your gone.

And the migration continues.
Ebb & Flow, Ebb & Flow.
How was the honeymoon suite?
Look forward to some pics once you get done censoring them.
I mean editing.
