I've been using aluminum brackets in my hood for the lights for over a year now without any noticeable corrosion (and a good amount of evaporation). I imagine they'll be fine.

Everything looks great and you are another one that now makes me jealous with the whole basement deal.
Congratulations on a very nice setup and best of luck with it.

Hey Barb,
Charlie Brown says hi!
He eats like a pig.
Saw him suck up 3 ghost shrimp in 30 seconds flat.
Kid you not. He's a growing boy. lol
I'll get some pics up soon.

Yes, my clammy fear is gone! It just looks so happy and the color is getting better and better that it's hard to worry about it, so I gave it up.
I've been too lazy to fiddle with the pictures yet. Maybe when I get home from work I'll feel like it.
I'm sorry to say, however, that there are no pictures of rum drinks with a tiny umbrella. They did not use umbrellas at this resort. Must be a bare bones place.

Hi, Kelli! Thanks for the welcome! TRT seems like a nice place and lots of familiar faces, too! I'm looking forward to getting to know new people...
I'm still catching up on my sleep and recovering from the trip, but I'll jump into more threads soon.

Thanks! I think I may have a bit of cyano growing on my big decorator crab, though. If that's possible! lol
Well, actually it's growing on his decorations... sponges and clove polyps. I'll try to get a picture later today.

Thanks, aquawolf! The whole basement thing was my husband John's idea. He didn't like the thought of doing water changes in the living room. He had images of big barrels of saltwater tipping over, so the downstairs thing was born.
I love it! It provides me with a little exercise everyday too, which is definitely not a bad thing.

Victor, I just KNEW Charlie Brown would be a good eater when he was striking at things while still acclimating! I'm SO glad he's doing well, and I can't wait for more pictures!

HI Sarah! Thanks for stopping by! I've been reading about your dino problem.. sounds as though you're getting it under control.. good!
I'll be active in both places... RS is my First Loce when it comes to reefing, but I have to be in touch with Steve and Scott and Terry and everyone else who has come over here. They're FAMILY! I can't be without them! lol

Daniel, there's a pic of your rics on page 2 here! Look at the ric garden pic.. yours are right smack in the front and center!! You can't see the third mouth though, it's behind a fold on the left side of the left ric.
They're SO beautiful and I'm SO glad I bought them from you! So thanks again!
