Lighting: (2) 80W Actinics ; (3) 250W 10,000K
Metal Halides positioned 12" above tank.
Water Parameters: Temp. avg 76-78 degrees SG-1.025 ; PH 8.4 ; Alk 30-50 ; Calcium-325-350ppm
0-Ammonia; 0-Nitrites; 0-.5 Nitrates; 0-Phosphates

Protein skimmer with 22 Gal sump
Approx. 150lbs. Live Rock and 200lbs. Live sand approx. 4" thick but no plenum in use.
Addatives: Triple Buffer; Calcium (not Kalkwasser); Tech I ; Strontium & Molybdenum
I use Chemi-Pure & Phos-Zorb in the sump.
Lights remain on for 12 hrs. Actinics- 1 hr. before Halides and stay on 1 hr. after. Also, Halides go on one at a time 10 min apart.
H2O Flow: Besides the two returns from the sump, I also use a Seaswirl positioned mid section in the rear of the tank which rotates 90 degrees.
