specs on my tank.

okay,

here is my current tank:

- 180 gallon Lee Mar Euro braced tank with polished low iron glass.
- 100 gallon acrylic sump
- 40 gallon acrylic refugium with 900 gph flow by a red sea wavemaster pro with two maxijet 1200's in alternating current for incredible macro growth. lit by a 65 watt 6500k pc lights of america fixture.
- main lights are a 72" 3x250 watt de 10k ab giesemann pendant
- a custom local made calcium reactor loaded with tropic marin coralith media
- 10 lb co2 canister
- reef fanatic regulator
- reef fanatic pH controller
- reef fanatic wave maker hooked to it 3 maxijet powerheads and two rio seio 820's for internal tank circulation
- reef concepts aerofoamer 830 beckett skimmer driven by an iwaki 55rlt
- return pump is an ampmaster 3000 split three ways for return, sump circulation and feeding the fuge
- phosban reactor used for carbon fitration
- aqualifter pump on a timer to pump 3 gallons of kalkwasser for ca/alk and evap make up
- two titanium heaters: 150 watt and 350 watt with digital temp display
- 1/4 hp pacific coast chiller fed by a maxijet 1200 (which goes to the phosban reactor)
- 2 led moonlights with photosensors to come on when main lights go out.
- radio shack pool/spa thermometer
- all support equipment located remotely in the garage.

livestock:

- 280 pounds of live rock
- 90 pounds of live sand
- one gold stripe maroon clown
- one purple tang
- one midas blennie
- one mandarin goby
- one six line wrasse
- one square anthia male
- one female anthia to accompany male
- two cleaner shrimps
- two peppermint shrimps
- bunch of snails
- bunch of starfishes
- two clownfish in the refugium
- one yellow dottyback in the refugium

corals:

- yuma ricordeas of every color (my main interest)
- zoanthids of a lot of colors (40+)
- purple, blue, red and green stripe mushrooms all over the place
- misc sps frags of montipora, millipora, acro etc
- one deep blue 4 inch crocea clam
- one 7 inch brown and gold squamosa clam
- two orange spiked plate corals
- two varieties of acanthastrea lord's
- three separate neon green single head forgspawns: 8 inch, 4 inch and 3 inch diameter heads
- two branching pink tip frogspawns: one with 20+ heads, the other with 10+ heads
- one branching green tip hammer with 6+ heads
- one regular green tip hammer 6 inches long
- one pink tip hammer that is in a corragated pattern with a diamter of about 8 inches by 6 inches

schedule:

- daily manual addition of three gallons of ro water to 5 gallon kalk reserve to top off system
- two feedings a day of mysis, plankton and brine for the fish
- one to two days a week feeding of phytoplankton to corals
- three to four times a week - empty skimmer collection bucket
- once a month - clean skimmer
- once a month - calibrate pH probe
- twice a month - 10% water change using tropic marin salt with ro water
- once a week - fine tune calcium to 400 ppm with tropic marin bio calcium
- once a week - fine tune alk with baking soda
- once a week - test nitrates, phosphates, magnesium, alk and ca by salifert test kits
- once a week clean front glass of any algae with magnetic scraper
- as needed - trim back macroalgae in the refugium.

i do not use an auto top off system for the possible event of a float valve misfunction which would lead to hyposalinity with a very high systemic pH due to unrestricted kalk dosing.

that's about it...

sorry...no pic...having trouble with my photo host server!
