I am new here and I must say I am very impressed from what I have seen and read so far. Very nice site I am very happy to have found it.
A little info
I have always had a fish tank although they where all Fresh water tanks.
I recently lost all my fish, One of my angels was 15 years old. I am not sure what got in to the Tank that killed everything over night but it happen, and now it is time to move on.
I have wanted a Marine tank for many years so I feel this is the perfect time to go for it. I have gotton a couple of books and talked to a few people for guidence and for info on what I whould need to change and get.
Ok My Spec's at the moment.
Tank Glass 60 gallon
2 Flovul 404 Filtration pumps
1 Air pump
2 Power air pumps
The rest of my stuff will not work for salt water so to the dump or donation it goes.
I am being told for startup Beside getting the Salt and gravel and a couple of other things, I can go with the above. I will have to get a
protein skimmer with in 2 weeks but plan on getting this at first as to have everything setup and ready to go. I guess from what I have been reading I will be going with a coral reef system.
Well any suggestions or any ideas whould bew more then helpfull and apprecieted
