Posting my specs. reccomendations appreciated.

I have a 75 gallon reef tank. I have about 70lbs of live rock with several mushrooms and polyps. I chose live sand as a bottom substrate with a small amount of crushed coral mixed in. I have about 100lbs of this. I have about 5 damsels, one sailfin tang, and a pair of percula's. I just bought a red scooter blenny, and I have about 20 snails and 70 or 80 blue leg crabs for sand agitation.
I currently have a Fluval 205 and a Magnum 350 canister filter on the tank. I combined the filters off of two other tanks to get this combination, and am looking to get a better filtration system soon. Advice on this would be appreciated. I have a crappy seaclone 100 skimmer that I wish i never wasted my money on, and two powerheads at each side for circulation.
My hood contains 4 custom installed T-12 VHO 110 watt bulbs, 2 actinic and 2 day. I recently installed a small fan to limit heat exchange that was overheating the tank.

Forgot to mention that I have one Caribbean flower anemone, one curly que, and two small feather dusters and one large Hawaiian feather duster. Also, I ahve a pretty good chunk of green star polyp going int he front of my tank.

What do you run in your canister filters and how often do you service them? Generally for a reef, the canisters are not the best choice as they tend to make it hard to control nitrates. Stuff gets trapped in there and breaks down to nitrates between cleaning. THe most common setup is just a good skimmer and liverock.

I clean them about every two weeks. I also do regular water changes. As far as media, I use pre-filters in the first chamber, bio stones in the second, carbon and a pillow in the others. In the Magnum I just run carbon. I clean it less often, but do it monthly. Also, I am building a sump this week made from a 20 long tank. just gotta work out the overflow.
