I'd be proud of that too! Truly looking great there Mark. And thanks for asking Christian, and thanks to your link Mark, I now think I finally know what our 'mystery' coral is we were given a couple years ago. Cinnamon Palys ( Palythoa Grandis) Had such short, barely detectable arms, that I had no idea they were Palys, best guessing was some type of Mushroom. But a dead ringer for one of those images in your link.....THANKS! I like knowing what we have. All the best to you Folks,
Hack

They're the ones that I keep mentioning that didn't do anything for the first two years, and now all of a sudden they're spreading like fleas. Only had five heads, and just sat there.....but within the last couple months they started multiplying. Was one of those 'grab bag' pieces places give you if'n you spend over a certain amount. At this rate Christian some of them outa be ready for fragging too by the spring.

Awesome hack! I'll definitely repay the favor! I'm gonna start ordering some colorful mushrooms when I get my frag tank up and running. I'll try to get a variety for everyone since all the lfs around here just have green mushrooms. I like color. I'm hoping the orange ricorda is splitting by then. It's a gorgeous color and would love to send you some. Right now it's the size of a pencil eraser lol

There are some beautiful Mushrooms out there, but like you said all the lfs carry green and tan. Go online and yeah, pretty colors but they want $40.00 per polyp. Never tried Recordia, but they are on the list.

I've got some that are green and brown with neon green mouths that I plan on including for you. The orange was a trade from a local reefer that wanted me to get it back to health. They just want time to get their tank back and only asked for one back when it splits. I like getting corals back to health

Yep Hack, those indeed look like Grandis...very nice. I like Palys cuz they come in so many different colors and grow well.

Good morning fishies...you may note the front base as having been its cheap coating stripped off...getting ready to paint it and the use some molding to cover it up. Woah, it looks more warped in the picture than in real life

Here's an FTS for the morning...

Never knew that. Have some boring plan brown ones we've had like forever. Been hitting em with zooplankton once a week or so. Something has changed in our tank without notifying me, or they just decided on their own it was time to get a move on. I'm not arguing, as long as they're happy.

Our original two polyps can get the size of half dollars when the lights are up and when feeding fish if a morsel falls in they close up around it, munch down, and come back bigger.
