What is the easiest way to get rid of phosphates in my 90 gallon reef tank?

I do not over feed I only have four fish. Also I do a water change about every three weeks. Is that still not enough? Where in south Florida do you live?

I would recommend you mix a small batch of fresh salt water and test after 24 hrs. If that is pos, you need to test your tap water( or whatever) for any P04 there. If both are negative it is either comming off your rock or with one of your addititves. Be methodical and you will find it.

You stated you feed lightly. That may be, but if any food remains in the tank you will eventually see it in some undesireable form. Just something else to keep in mind.

Happy Monday

John
