Papa's Setup
Hey All,
This is my first post. My grandsom Gil turned me on to the hobby and helped me set up my first system about 8 weeks or so ago. I'm 68 years old and absolutely loving this!
Anyway, here are my tank specs. Let me know if I miss something.
Size: 125g 72x24x18 with twin baffles built in.
Type: Fish Only w/ Live Rock (approx 100lb of Live Rock)
Substrate: Deep Crushed Coral, fine grade. Approx 4 inch sandbed
Lighting: T5 system with reflectors. 2 Day, 2 Actinic. 9 hours timed
LED: Moon Cycling LED lights
Large sump with bioballs and carbon filters.
Protein Skimmer
Auto Top off system from RODI reservoir linked to ATO going downstairs.
Salinity: 1.025
Ammonia: 0 ppm
Nitrite: 0 ppm
Nitrate: 0-20 ppm depending on when water was last changed
Not sure what else I need to report on. Let me know if I missed anything.
Since I'm new I would LOVE any advice and encouragement I can get. Gil tells me you guys are the best.
