Pachacutec's tank specs
Hi,
I have a fish only 60 gallon tank with a Fluval canister filter, waterfall filter, and CCR Bakpak protein skimmer. Current inhabitants include a 2 foot snowflake moray eel, a 7 year old damsel, and an unidentified 6 inch puffer. Tank was cycled 13 years ago. I draw my salt water from Scripps pier, through their filtration tanks, and bring the salinity down by mixing it with RO'd fresh water.
thanks

Thanks aquawolf - glad to be here. I've actually been lurking around occasionally, gleaning information. My sick puffer motivated me to register and ask for help.
I inherited this tank from a friend 10 years ago. Now I don't know how I ever lived without one. One of these days, (post-graduation), I'd like to build a small reef tank. Alas, when time and money permits

I'm also interested in a picture. What are the wattage of the lights you have in the tank? Because, you can buy some colorful mushroom to brighten up the tank. It to increase the wow factor ( )you could replace your bulbs with some 50/50 actinic/daylight bulbs .That allows you to get a nice glow of some of your fish and the mushrooms.
