hello everyone
i am new to reef keeping and i have set up an 85 gallon reef tank. aqua c 1000 skimmer with 20 gallon sump.. it is not a
reef ready tank so i use an overflow box...i have a mag 9.5 in the sump and i plumbed it back to the tank and it actually works,,,wow...that was a first for me...i also run a
bio wheel to it and the water is so very clear..i have spent so much but that is how the cookie crumbles..
my wife is complaining on the noise level of the overflow box..can anyone help me decrease the noise level.. the tank itself is beautiful and has been running now for 6 weeks.. i have four snails, two emerald crabs and one chromis in the tank.. all water test are good at this time and i intend to add two tank breed nemo's this thursday.
but back to the noise, can anyone help
i also am picking up my hood this weekend and am going to do 360-440 vho in the lid..i do plan on having corals, soft and hard and some fish..
i also have a 30 gallon isotation tank set up and runing with a prizm hanging on it and it seems to be working so far...
