I guess I should let you know what I have been using.
60 gallon Plexi
60 lbs. of Indo-Pac live rock
6" live sand bed with a 1" plenum
4 55 watt compacts 2-blue for 8 hours, 2-white for 7 hours
5 small power heads 4 attached to a wave make 1 used to draw air from siphon tube in my over flow/pre fliter.
60 gal plexi as sump (free so why not)
1/2 of it is for my recently added refugium the other for protien skimmer and chiller coil.
Rio 2500 used for return pump. Not a problem yet with the pump.
Guest of my tank change. I have customers that have reef tanks of their own. And sometimes I will sell or trade with them for one of my guest.
