I am new here. Great site, and here are my
specs. 90 gal acrylic, 40 gal sump with a refugium hanging over the sump. Its been running for about a month and my readings have come back very nicely over the last 5 days. I am now officially cycled, and did the first water change today. There is about 220lb of live rock between the sump and tank. Live sand for the substrate and a live sand and live rock rubble mixed in the regugium. I bought live rock cheap from a lfs that was moving, and then some beautiful live cured rock from a guy who was breaking down his tank. That is why there is so much in a 90 gal system. As a matter of fact I fit all the nicest peices in the tank that I could, but I still have at least 100lbs left. It is currently wet and warm, but in a container in the dark because it is apparently infested with mojano's

. I have been battling them in my tank since the live rock was placed in a month ago. I did manage to get a few good hitchhikers. I got a few feather dusters, bunch of turbo snails, hermits, emerald crabs, a couple of shrimp, and a few polyps of a "soft" coral. Definately a zoo of some sort. Since i am cycled, I went to the lfs to buy water for the first change and said what the hell, I'll buy those mushrooms too! So that was my first specimen. In another week I am thinking about a yellow eyed tang as I have read they help with the brown film that seems to be prevalent newly established aquariums. There will be pics to follow!
