New Plans
Ok I have been gathering information and studying people’s set-ups and I think I have finally got battle plan to execute. I have plans on revamping my current 36 gal set-up http://www.thereeftank.com/forums/f7/my-two-lil-tanks-119484.html
Ok here it goes:
Tank:
37 gallon display
Dimensions: 30x22x11
Overflow:
CPR CS 50 300 GPH overflow box
Return Pump:
Eheim 1250
Flow:
2 Koralia 1’s
Couple of power heads behind rocks
Refugium:
12 gallon Eclipse
Equipment Sump:
10 gallon Aqeuon
Lighting:
4x24 watt T5’s Current Sundial
Skimmer:
Coral Life 65
Heating:
100watt
Cooling:
8inch fan clipped to the hood
So my plan is to have a display that is only visible on 3 sides (front, right, and left), with no equipment or clutter distractions. I’m going to get this effect by building a cabinet around the tank itself. The cabinet I already own and the dimensions are perfect for what I want to do with it. I plan on having the display drain into my fuge then w/ a bulkhead have the fuge gravity drain into the sump. My fuge will be approx 12inches elevated above the sump. Do any of you think my fuge draining into the sump may delete its purpose? I really need some feedback so please any input would be appreciated.
