Ive been around this forum for some time and finally decided to formally introduce myself. My name is Mike and I just set up my first reef tank in April. With the help of a good friend, and neighbor (holyscoly) , he has helped me successfully maintain my first reef tank. This is a great reef community and Id like to share my reef tank with you all. The tank has been up since April of this year.

-55 gallon (48"L x 12"W x 24"T)

Sump:
-29 gallons Custom

Lighting:
-(4) 54w T5's

Filtration:
-Phosban Reactor
-Octopus NW-150 Skimmer

Return Pump:
-MAG 5

Water Circulation:
-(1) Hydor Koralia 2
-(1) Seio powerhead modded w/magfloat

Calcium / Alkalinity Dosing Method:
-C-Balance (part A & B)

Heating Method:
-(1) 100W Marineland Heater

Fish:
-(1) Lawnmower blenny
-(1) Clarkii Clownfish
-(1) Yellow watchman goby
-(1) Coral Beauty Angel
-(1) Longnose Hawkfish

Inverts:
-(2) Yellow Coral Banded Shrimps
-(?) Mix of electric blue, red, and blue leg hermit crabs, and some snails

here is a growth pic of the montipora digi, it grew like this in 2 months.

it was even bigger but the entire rock it was on fell and about a 1 inch piece broke off. The broken piece is doing very well, and I plan on giving the frag to a friend.
