I have setup a 15g tall Eclipse tank on 12/13/01 with the following specs:
Using Eclipse hood filter without media for water circulation
Lighting is a 36 watt PC retrofit
15-20 lbs base rock (used to be live but spent the last 2 years in the dark without heat)
2-3 1/2 in sandbed of Southdown Tropical Playsand
Current occupants:
2 False Perculas
1 Cherub Angelfish
3
Scarlet Reef Hermit Crabs
3 Margarita Snails
3 Cerith Snails
3 Nassauris(sp?) Snails

Bumble Bee Snails
My sandbed is not live yet, neither is the rock.
I maintain my tank at 1.025 S.G. and 82 degrees
