Hello! i am new and this is my first post, this is kind of a test run for me!
I am currently in the process of setting up my first REEF tank!
A (Used) Glass 120gal. dimensions: 48"x24x24
Drilled Glass, Drilled behind the Built-in corner overflow. Tank was built in 1996 according to manuf label.

external pumps (1-w/skimmer, 1-refugium return), 2 or 3 submersible power heads
Custon 8" tall wooden ( formica?) black hood with the following inside: a metal-halide reflector with a burnt out ~7" bulb, 2-double VHO flourescent strips, up to 110 watts apiece(2Actinic 2 daylight bulbs, i think 36" each)
A external ballast for that metal Halide
Some old
Venturi skimmer.
Planning on a 36" long refugium, and a 4" live sand bed, and lots of LR. Planning on a few peaceful fish and some coral.
I want to eventually set up a kalkwasser doser and calcium doser of some sort, and am open to suggestions about refugium lighting and low-trauma pumps.
