Here is my set up:
55 gallon Glass aquarium
110 lbs of live rock
55 lbs of live sand
2 maxijet 1200's
1 penguin 1180 ph
CPR BakPak with surface skimmer
2 175 watt MH lights (hamilton 10K)
1 NO URI actinic
Super wave stip with night time sensor
Evaporation water is replaced via an IV style dosing pump purchased on E-Bay. This thing is a life saver and it was only $75.00.
Make up water is from a Kent Marine RO/DI unit that produces 24 gal/day
Additives are SeaChem Reef +, Reef Calcium, & Reef Complete all dosed twice a week. B-ionic is dosed on the days in between the Sea Chem.
As for Fish: I have one yellow tang
As for inverts: I have about 25
blue legged hermits, about 35 snails, 2 tiger tale cucs, & 2 pepermint shrimp.
As for corals: I have 2 colonies of Mushrooms, a
yellow polyp rock, a pulsing Xenia, and a button polyp rock.
