WOW thats a lot of tangs. I'm trying to think of where I saw it but I saw an L shaped tank that I think was around the same size with a plethora of tangs. The interview with the gentlemen that owned it stated that there was a point in a larger aquarium where you could stock them up to the point they aggression actually dissipated. I wondered if you noticed the same thing or if you had read up on this. I have seen this in FW mbuna species so I could buy into the possibility it could work in tangs as well. just curious, beautiful tank!

Did I ever tell you about the time Brasky went hunting? Well anyway, Brasky decides he's gonna hunt down all four members of the Banana Splits. He stalks and kills every one of them with a machete. They all beg for their lives, except Fleagul.

Jerome, it could be that as much as just spreading the wealth, so to speak. I've seen larger systems (500 plus, though usually closer to 1000 gallons) with as many surgeonfish as you're indicating and they're either pissed at everyone so no one is singled out, or they just come to the conclusion that it's a hopeless endeavor.

That's a lot of big fish. The sailfin looks like it's being censored.

All of the sailfins reacted to the little ruler, I think it might have had something to do with the ruler being yellow????

Placing the ruler on the tank was a great idea for showing off the size of your fish. Thanks for that as it makes it all the more impressive.
