Okay, I'm not going to quit... That's just weak and stupid. I'm invested in this and I want to get it right. Tomorrow I'm going out to get a heater for the tank to keep that under control.

Just take things sssllllooowwwww. You will be fine. If your going to add fish add something hardy, like a damsel or something. I know damsel are mean suckers but u can always give it back or trade it in. Just slow down and let the tank talk to you...(so to speak). lol

I don't even know what to think anymore. I have no fish left in my tank... I don't know why my puffer and trigger died. Its hard to stay motivated when my water levels are okay but my fish are dying. The thought of converting my tank back to freshwater has been floating around

nahh... Let your tank the way it is for about 2 weeks. Check your levels and if everything is ok go buy a small hardy fish.

aren't puffers and triggers hardy? i dont get why they died in the first place. the only thing i can think of is that the water that i changed out, i replaced with colder water and that may of caused a shock or something.

I didn't bother getting it today seeing as I have no fish :|
I'm really in a bind right now, I don't know what to do.
I have a bit of brown algae but that's not a big deal right (fatal)? Just keep cleaning and it'll go away eventually?

The water from wal-mart is "clean". Is has very little impurities.... tap water sucks... It just has to much crap in it. U need a heater. Fish or not. U want to get everything stable.

yes losing fish is horrible, it really ruins a day If a marine tank is what you want, I would keep at it. just remember slow is key...making mistakes is normal and it's a learning process

Mistakes indeed... What a tough on the heart hobby this is! I'm going to let the tank cycle by itself for awhile now and when everything stables out, restart with a clownfish. Keep the faith right?
