I haven't learned how to make my own gallery yet to display my pics but if you have any questions let me know. Oh yea, it'll be a reef tank softies and some fish. I've had FOWLR for years and have decided to go reef because I love corals.

If you look at that link that explains the PVC LiveRock supports that I am making this weekend. I am going to order about 70 bls of LR from Prem. Aquatics on Mon. I dont want a whole pile of rocks so I'm ordering only 70 bls to start with. I want some open space in the tank. I can take pics once I have aquascaped. I plan on having some caves and ledges. I am going to use reef safe epoxy to glue the rocks into the form I want them. Hopefully it comes out nice, I'll take a lot of pics

That sounds like a great plan!!!I am going to use some pvc for support as well and that forum gives me many idead!!THANKS!!!I also what to create a gap in the center so I can see all the life that makes a mad dash across while also covering up the overflow. Please tell me how your experience is with premium aquatics goes because I am looking around and narrowed it down to the marine center and premium aquatics. Post lots of pictures if you can because I love to look and new and different things and my mind begins to think of what could be possible. Also are you running a sump or not?
Thank you!!
William

I have a sump but I plan on purchasing the overflow later. I will probaly buy the CPR CS50 I think it drains around 350-400 GPH so then I would go with something like a Mag 5 in the sump to return water to the tank from the sump. http://www.cpraquatic.com/products/overflows.html
I will post pics later, good luck make sure to post some pics of your tank to, I love looking at other peoples' tanks

Finally, today I am ordering my live rock. Today is my last/only presentation in virology seminar, so now I'll have more time for important things like my tank. :-)

Sadly, no. I had to spend live rock money on my trip to Jamaica this June for a conference which shows how reef crazy I am that I would have rather spent the money on the rocks but I had to reserve my room. Long story short I had to pay upfront and I'm getting reimbursed before the actual trip. Its sad looking at the empty tank with everything in there but the rocks, but hopefully I can order some rocks with my paycheck at the end of the month , I'll let you know how it goes...
Sad, poor grad. student
