My 30 Gallon Saltwater Tank

This is my recent 29 Gallon Aqueon kit saltwater setup:
~40-50lbs live sand
~15-20lbs live rock
-2 Star Snails
-1 Bumblebee Snail
-12 Hermits (1 zebra, 5 blue legs, 6 red legs)
-Clarkii Clownfish (~2 inches)
-Valentini Pufferfish (~3 inches)
-Yellow Tail Damselfish & Four Stripe Damsel
-Snowflake Moray Eel (~14 inches)

Currently the tank is filtered with a Large Aqueon powerfilter and a Large AquaClear filter (bag of carbon and sponge). I know I should upgrade to a better filtration system, but the water always seems to test fine and I can't really afford to right now.
In terms of lighting the kit came with a Hagen 24" 17watt bulb for the AllGlass hood, I'm sure theres a better bulb that will fit in this fixture and be better for the tank; unfortunately I don't know too much about aquarium lighting yet (any suggestions are welcome!)

I'd get rid of the filters get more LR(that's tour filter) get better lighting and get a good skimmer and a RO/DI filter and good test kits and a heater for the winter and a grounding probe. And I hope your circuit is GFCI protected.

Thanks! I do have a heater, the water's kept at ~79 degrees. pH is ~8.2, Nitrites/Ammonia = 0ppm, Nitrates = ~12-15ppm.
I should have a UV sterilizer sometime this week, but what kind of lighting do you suggest?

What do you want to do with the tank?
If you have no intention of getting corals, I see little to no point in splurging on a high end light you won't use.

Well I guess the title of this thread should be changed to my new 55 gallon tank as I just have finished switching into one. 108watts of t5 lighting a fluval 305 canister and 2 powerfilters (no room for a wet dry at this time). The upgrade was prompted by the valentini mercilessly teasing the snowflake until he tries to bite him. I was under the impressiont that this was a vie for dominance/territory since the valentini puffs up and literally tries to push the eel back into his cave.
Unfortunately it still seems to be happening in the new tank, i was splitting them up for a while, but the puffer infallibly returns to wherever the eel is in the tank. I know this isn't the right place for this question but is there any way to stop these altercations or must i just let nature take its course?
