My 29 gallon starter tank

Specs on my 29:

Tank setup on December 4th 2005

Equipment, etc

29g AGA w/ 20lbs Fiji Live Rock and 2-3inch arogonite base
Eclipse 3 hood (standard with 2 x 20W fluorescent (5500K/Actinic)
Outfitted with 55W Coralife compact fluorescent combo (10000K/Actinic)
9W Turbo Twist UV sterilizer supplied by 9.5 W Rio 600 powerhead
Tronic Heater

Original Livestock:

2 Ocellaris Clowns
Diamond Watchman Goby
Stunted Yellow Tang ~ 2.5in

2 Scarlet Reef Hermits
Turbo snail

Tons of purple/red mushrooms

After about 2 months the tang and one of the clowns came down with ick. Spent nearly 2 weeks fighting it but they finely gave in. Partially why I purchased the turbo twist.

Current Livestock:

1 Ocellaris Clown
Diamond Watchman Goby

2 Scarlet Reef Hermits
Turbo snail

Tons of purple/red mushrooms

All sounds good but the yellow tang.........I would look into selling him back to the LFS qucikly. Or maybe a fellow friend that has at least a 4ft long tank.

Pics

Here are some pics of the tank if you wanted to see.

Notice the huge piles of substrate near the center of the tank. It use to be evenly distributed but Sarge (diamond watchman) goes nuts.

I have pics of the fish, but the resolution was too high so they can't be uploaded, I'll take more pics tommorow when they are out and about.

Updated tank inhabitants:

Ocellaris Clown (Gromit)
Diamond Watchman Goby (Sarge)
Skunk Cleaner Shrimp (Private mmmmm good)

2 Scarlet Reef Hermits
2 Turbo snail

Tons of purple/red mushrooms
Large colony of Green Star Polyps
Large colony of brown/red zooanthias

When I move out to my new apartment this summer, I plan on added about an extra 15 pounds more of live rock and either a flame or coral beauty angel. . . . I'm so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If anyone around the Twin Cities area is looking to get rid of some live rock from their tank. . . let me know.
