Well the tank has been set up for a few weeks now and I made some mods to it already!!!!
The tank had a closed loop on it, including a
Dolphin AmpMaster 3K and an
www.oceansmotions.com 4 way HD but due to the heat and bad planning on my part, I took it off line and sold it. I also had a W70HD as my return pump but I thought it was the pump making all of the heat so I returned it. But come to find out it was the AM3K...oh well. The W70HD was cranked back anyway because too much water going through my overflows so the W40HDX fits just right. But of course...as always, I made another change. I added a 1/4hp Current USA chiller to the tank so I need to put a larger pump on the system to feed the chiller and the tank. The W70HD would have been perfect but I returned it...doh So anyway, I was able to get my hands on a GenX PCX100 for free (brand new) so I put that on and it is fairly quiet and does a great job.
