Ok - so I'm going to try to give the spec's of my tank... but I just want to forewarn that I don't know the right names of everything! I'm about 2.5 months in - the store owner who has helped me build it has made sure I added things pretty slowly... He mixes all the water there and you buy it from him - so I don't do any of the water stuff...
