johnreb's reef

My tank specs go as follows:
-tank size is 65 gallon
-lighting consists of one 6500k,400w metal halide(will be replacing it with a 12000k
when the time comes) and two NO actinics.
Actinics are on for 12 hours and the halide for 8.
- the sump is a 38 gallon tank located in the basement that is illuminated by a 150w Weisslight(this will be replaced with a 175w MH when the time comes) on a reverse photoperiod from the main tank.
-homemade skimmer sits in the sump driven by a Rio 2100.
-heat comes from 2x300w visitherms and a 150w acura 1000. All of these are in the sump.
-I have about 60lb of live rock and about one inch of live sand in the main tank

Livestock:
-one small yellow tang who has completely rid my tank of all traces of problem algae.
-two Percula clowns.
-Long Tentacle Anenome
-two coral banded shrimp.
-two peppermint shrimp, who are decimating my Aiptasias.
-two species of Acropora.
- serveral soft coral including two types of Xenia.
-various polyps and mushrooms.

I may have to get rid of some of my soft corals, the light seems to be too much for them. Same with my mushrooms, the ones in the shade are doing great, the ones exposed to direct light are starting to bleach.
I'm thinking of relocating some of them to my sump.

Additives:
-B-ionic
-ESV liquid carbonate buffer
-SrCl2
-KI

Water parameters:
-NO3: undetectable
-PO4: undetectable(I find this hard to believe, think the test kit may be bad).
-Calcium: 450ppm?(getting new test kits soon)
-alkalinity:2.8 meq/L(trying to get this up)
-temperature:79-81
-Ph: haven't tested it in a while, need new kit.
