In the beginning...
Well heres where I am so far... A 55glass undrilled, 29 sump, AquaMedic turboflotr Multi skimmer, sump is fed by an overflow box and returned via a submersible Gen-x pump to a spray bar at the bottom back of tank. There is also an external 850 gph Gen-X pump and dumping into each corner of the tank. Heating is by two titanium 100 watt heaters. Its lit up by two ARO electronic VHO ballasts each on a timer, one with two coralife 110watt 10000k daylights and the other with two 110 actinic Corolifes. Temp inside the tank and hood will be monitored by a big digital thermometer. Future plans include a calcium reactor and metal halides. Custom stand was built by my Father in Law.
