I don't know the volume of my tank!!

I bought a used Oceanic all glass tank...the dimenions are 48.5"X23"X13.5 deep. The seller told me it was a 58 gallon but when I went to the aquarium they told me that it wasn't based on the dimensions. Can anyone help me and tell me what gallon size tank I have?

The calculator I use came up with 60 gallons, so the 58 is most likely accurate.

Don't go by calculations. Do the calculations on a 10 gallon tank, then try to put 10 gallons of water in one

Anyway, it doesn't matter what size it is, it's only a matter of time before you think "I should have got a bigger tank".

I came up with about 65 gallons. (assuming it is inside dimentions and not outside)

Came up with 64.5 gallons but I'm assuming you posted outside dimensions? It's sold as an Oceanic 55 gallon like Randy posted. Actual tank gallonage doesn't always match up to the size it's sold as. Not really sure why.
