Hi from 0Z
Hello everyone, my name is Nick. I've been captivated by marine aquariums ever since childhood and started my first sw tank when I was 13. Here's a rundown of my latest, set up 12/3/05.
48"L x 30"H x 24"w 560 litres or 150 gal approx. 12/15mm (1/2-5/8") glass.
140L/40gal approx. refugium/DSB and sump
Berlin Skimmer/Eheim1260
Aquamedic denitrifying filter and 3lph dosing pump
Tunze 6100 streamkit
Eheim 1262 return
250w 10,000k Radium MH
2x15w 12000k Sera bluesky tubes for refuge
At this stage I top up evaporation with RO water and dose calcium manually which is a bit of a pain.
Livestock atm:
Bubble tip and H.Crispa anaemones
Various Zoanthids
Leather corals
Mushrooms
Green star polyps
Tree coral
Blood cleaner shrimps
Pistol shrimps
Hermits
Blue linkia starfish
Urchins
Heaps of snails
Red Sea Sailfin
Blue Tang
Tomato Clown
Coral Beauty
Sgt. Majors
Multitudes of worms and copepods
coral sand averge 3"-4" depth
250lb approx liverock
I use natural and synthetic seawater (Red Sea and Aquamedic) for water changes.

Hi Blootang, im Nathan05 on the MASA forums.
Yeah DSB's are a no go area in the states lol, pity they havnt been to Australia and seen the incredible VERY old DSB tanks looking perfect!.
Great tank by the way, where about do you get your Zoos? I find good ones so hard to find in Aus LFS's, at least near Sydney.

A few more pics. Most of the rock and livestock came from my old 48x24x24 which had been going for 10+ years and through a few phases.
1995 Trigger tank.
2004 Not long before it was pulled down.
About a month into the new deeper tank.
These days, nearly 3 months old.
My favourite fish ATM.
Red Sea Sailfin Zebrasoma desjardinii (10+ years old). Not camera shy at all and seems to get in every pic.
Sergeant Major Abudefduf sexfasciatus my three are over 4" now -not too aggressive and IMO their colours get better as they mature.
My favourite Zoos

Hi Nafe,
Thanks for warning me about dsb's. Your other alias(masa) looks familiar. There are 3 different LFS near me and between them all they usually have something but most are all brown and green.
