Baby frag from ARC frag night. I mounted it on the side to see how it would grow. As you can see, it is starting to encrust at the base.

OK, here's an updated view of the fish closet behind the 75g tank. Now it has my skimmer, waste-collector, top-off (salt-bucket), and the 10g nano. I house quite a bit of the electrical back here as well, but it is above the nano (out of view of the picture).
The nano is not plumbed into the main tank.
I keep my fresh water in that Brute trash can. I have another Brute can in another closet that I keep my saltwater in. The jugs at the bottom are just extra fresh water.

OK, update time:
- The biggest news is that I started a prop tank.
- Replaced the Ushio 10Ks with Hamilton 14K DE bulbs. Nice color. Bluer, but not too blue.
- Tore down the nano tank and put the contents in my new prop tank refugium.
- Quiet One pump locked up / seized. Threw it away.
- Bought an Ocean Runner 6500. Whoa! Very powerful for my system. This pump is nice.
- Added a new clip-on sump fan
- Ocean Runner 6500 quit working after one month. Fixed by letting the shaft and shaft housing soak in vinegar.
- Removed Ocean Runner 6500 in the mean time and put on a Mag 12 for my return.
- Decided I needed a more powerful pump on the MR-1 than a Mag 12 for the skimmer to work its best. So, rather than buying a pressure pump, I switched the skimmer from an MR-1 to a Euroreef CS6-2+ (Sedra 5000)
- Since removing the OR 6500 and putting the Mag 12 on the return, rather than on the MR-1, tank temperature dropped 2 degrees! Woohoo. Stays around 81-83 now.
Problems - Have been seeing minor patches of cyano. Nothing severe, but seemed to pop up when I lowered my lights. Keeping an eye on it and did a heavy water change. Nitrates read high last month, but are down to nearly 0 now.

When you say you lowered the lights, do you mean the distance between the light and the tank or are you refering to the lowering the total wattage?

I had just stirred up the water by cleaning the glass and overflows, so these aren't that great, but gives you a good idea of what is going on with my tank lately.

That tang is at least 4 years old and has always been on the skinny side (and I'm the second owner). He's fine.

BTW, you can see I have nori hanging in there. I can lead the fish to nori, but can't make him eat
