Ed's Reef Tank Specifications


Set Up Date : 8/00

Tank Size (LxHxW | Volume): 48 x 24 x 18 (90 gal)

Sump Size (LxHxW | Volume): 24 x 14 x 12 (17.5 gal), Amiracle Pro-Line 2000 with in sump skimmer using Rio 600 for circulation

Live Rock (Mass): 150 lbs

Live Sand (Mass): 60 lbs

Lighting (Type | Wattage | Photoperiod): Hamilton Hood with 2 x MH 175w, 10 k; 2 x 95 w Super Actinic. (Total = 6 watts per gallon).

Protein Skimmer (Brand | Model): Amiracle Pro-line 2000 in sump

Biological Filtration (Type): 150 lbs Fiji LR, and 3 -4" DSB

Chemical Filtration (Type): Granulated carbon one week a month.

Circulation (Rate | Brand | Model): 4 Maxi-jet powerheads from 600 to 1200 lph

Return Pump (Rate | Brand | Model): approx. 1225 gal/hour with Little Giant 4-MDQX
pH (Morning | Evening): 8.00 - 8.30
