Nice new pictures.

Sponges will come and go as the reef continues to mature. It is pretty cool to see what different types you will have grow sometimes as well.

Looked up info on nova extreme fixtures and it states the info below.

Q:
Is the Nova Extreme available with individual reflectors?

A:
The Nova Extreme T5HO features a polished German parabolic reflector that greatly
enhances light output. Although individual reflectors are not available for this model,

Current will offer new T5HO systems with individual reflectors in 2007.

I have a 2x54w Nova Extreme fixture what does this mean on my light output? Does this increase the type of corals i can house?

The Nova Extreme has a single bent reflector that goes across the top of all of the bulbs at once. That makes it less efficient than the fixtures where each bulb has an individual reflector.

The new version with individual reflectors they were referring to is the Nova Extreme Pro.

I think you might be able to keep acans under it. You can always feed them a little as well. You may be able to keep a birds nest, or some of the montiporas like a cap or a digi, as long as you place them high in the tank.

I would look for someone in your area that can give you a test frag to try out.

Time to update!

Thought it was time to update the status of my reef.

Current livestock
Maroon Clown Pair
Canary Wrasse
Juvenile Red Coris Wrasse
Black Nox Angelfish(aka Midnight Angel)
(Condy is dead!)
I finally Installed my Stand and Canopy after months of being stained
I also completely re-did my aquascape and rinsed my sand with fresh saltwater.

I have been telling you Aquawolf I would post pictures to display the status of the frags you sent me here they go.

Yuma

Ricordea never displayed and form of blue but overall awesome corals

Green Toadstool Leather when ployps are'nt out it displays green. Aquawolf could the polyps not be showing green due to lack of Actinic lighting? Also it is growing great imo(but I'm a noob) sheds quite often.

I know you are thinking I sent more than 3 corals. I still have the Cabbage leather. Just have a issue with keeping it in on place due to fish or crabs knocking it down. Same thing with the Eagle Eye Zoas. They stayed in the sand constantly Don't know if they will recover but I have moved them higher in the reef hopefully will open up again.

Ok now for some fts!

I know some are looking @ the low water level I'm mixing water to clear that void.
