Cycling With Carbon?

I just wanted to know if you guys ran your carbon during your cycle or not. And if not, why? Thanks

i did it with carbon, and it seemed to clear the water faster. i started my cycle on nov 9 and today my ammonia is 0, ph is 8.4, and nitrate is 5. it also helps to have 75 lbs of live rock and 40lbs of live sand, as well as all powerheads and skimmer running.

same here ran carbon since the beggening i run mine 24/7 and i change it every month when i do my 30G water change. BTW i use Kent marine reef Carbon kinda pricey but i ove the way it works
