55 gallon tank is 19 years old and has over 3,000 miles on it- no leaks. It's 48" wide, 12" deep, and 19" tall. Fluval 403 main filter, Second Nature WDF 4000 hang on tank wet/dry filter, and at least 6 jet pumps to provide extra water flow in tank. Approximately 1" of coarse crushed coral sitting atop undergravel filtration boosted by 3 of the mentioned jet pumps. The Fluval connects to the undergravel filtration as well.
HAD an Orbit lighting system, but it gave out after 13 months- rather upset about losing $250 on that "deal".
Currently using 3- 18" actinic lights and a dual 48" "shop light" with 6,500K daylight tubes. System has been working well for the last 2 years and was less than $100.
