Months of research as I get back into SW led me to this great site. A great deal on a new custom 205g acrylic got me really going. We are planning on a reef with the SPS, LPS and the works. Here's my intro:
205 gallon acrylic tank. 66" long, 36" tall and 20" wide.
Steel base 24" tall.
Iwaki 40RLXT (rated 1344 gph) pumping to 5 feet high.
40 gallon
acrylic sump.
Euro Reef CS 8-3 skimmer run by two KSP 5000 pumps.
4 inches of medium aragonite
200# live rock
Closed Loop in planning
CA reactor to come
Lighting:
3 IceCap 400w 220 MH ballasts (two 20k, one 10K)
1 IceCap 660 VHO ballast (two six foot actinics)
1 IceCap 440 VHO ballast (two six foot white)
Eventually will be "built-in" when a surround is built.
