B-ionics

55gal, 20 gal sump, and nautilus skimmer.
leathers, green mushroom, toadstool mushroom, pink condy, rock anemone, star polyp, gorginia, and some other polyps.

I recently started b-ionics week ago according to instructions on bottles it comes out to about 14ml of each for a tank my size. My question is how do I know when to increase the doses. I test about once a week... If anyone has any advice on using B-ionics please let me know.

I reckon (guessing) test your calcium levels like every 2 days (for a week or so, to get an idea of how fast your reef absorbs the calcium) or so and try and keep the lev over 400ppm... I love B-ionic.. the stuff really works. I used it on my old 40Gal tank and it only needed like 2 smallish doeses a week.. but my new tank (85Gal might need more).. I think if your reef absorbs the available calcium in your water, taking it below 300ppm, then you should add a bit more.. adjust your dosing sequence to try and keep it up.. but don't go overboard..
