asmith's tank specs


The big tank:

135 tank,
20 fuge (15 watt NO lighting 24/7)
30 sump, plumbed into the coat closet.
Mak4 return pump
About 250 lbs LR, 300 lbs southdown DSB
Berlin classic skimmer with Mag 9.5 pump)
3 x 250w 6500K Iwaski
2 x 160w Actinic VHO
Wavemaster Pro, attached to 4 Maxijet 1200s
More details to be added

Livestock (As of 4-29-02)
4" Yellow Tang
4" Lawnmower Blenny
3" Neon Dottyback
6 Yellow-tail Damsels
Yellow polyps, green stars, button polyps, anthelia, xenia, pearl bubble, Welsophyllia brain, 2 branching hammers, 4 large toadstools, finger leather, cabbage leather, various other Sarchophyton and sinularia sp, 3" Ultra Maxima clam, Caribbean photosynthetic purple gorg, candy cane, Colt, and others I"m forgetting.

Inverts include turbo and nassarius snails, a handful of hermits, skunk cleaner shrimp, orange linkia star, crispata nudi, 2 long-spine urchins, and other assorted characters.


The baby tank:
This is our Banggai grow-out tank. It is currently home to a new breeding pair of Banggai Cardinals.

29 gal, 2 x 55 w PCs
CPR Bakpak skimmer,
4" southdown DSB
40-50 lbs LR

No other fish.
Also home to xenia, anthelia, GSP, button polyps of all colors, sand polyps, Ricordea, lots of mushrooms, colt, Kenya tree, purple non-photosynthetic gorg.

Inverts include a skunk cleaner shrimp, some of these weird whelks from a friend's tank, a few nas's, and lots of worms.

sneak in on the rock!!! hehehahaoha
