Guess I oughta post mine to eh??
K, here goes.....
This tank was a rescue from a divorce. SHE wanted the tank and was going to flush the salt water fish. HE pleaded with me to rescue the fish, LR, sand, etc. So I did cuz I happened to have 3 aquariums sitting in the garage empty.
I have a:
30 gallon hex tank
1 303 powerhead (brand unknown)
1 of those big powersweeps you all hate but I like.
Magnum 302 canister filter
Omni life skimmer - co-current
heater
4-1/2" aragonite (1/2 was LS)
70 lbs LR
2 daylight, 1 50/50, 1 actinic but changing over to a nice PC really soon (matter of days).
Stock:
small Mandarin Goby
copepods (wanted to list this so I wouldnt get lectured)
lawnmower blenny
neon goby
tiny clarkii clown
2 small chromis
yellow damsel
worlds biggest cleaner wrasse
1 peppermint shrimp
Button polyps
star polyps
musrooms
yellow polyps
finger leather frag.
sally lightfoot crab
misc. wierd things on live rock
buncha banded brittle stars
Tank 2:
Hanging filter, air pump, same type of skimmer as above, same powerheads, same substrate. Tank gets 1 1/2 hr sunlight from window.
Has 50/50 light.
25 gallon FOWLR
2
green spotted puffers
2 green chromis
1 blue velvet damsel
1
chocolate chip starfish
1 bubbletip anenome
a few rogue hermit crabs
I have a 5 gal nano with some LR, etc. It has a percula, some polyps, nothing special, just nice and quiet.
This tank was not intentional, it was set up as an emergency when my smaller tank broke that housed the puffers, then other things have been added as they were given/rescued from other sources.
You wont ever catch me bringing home a stray dog or cat - ever. Reeflife is another story!!!
BUT no more, no more room!!!! Bigger tank is my next move, but what is in the 25 will pretty much be staying in the 25. The hex will be a QT tank instead of the 10 gal. hidden away.
