75 Gallon AGA w/ overflow
80 lbs. live rock
5 inch southdown sand bed
Sump/refugium:
20 long AGA tank with baffles w/ various macro
Skimmer:
Red Sea Berlin Classic (running on Mag 9)
Return pump:
Little Giant 3MDQ-SC (approximately 500gph at head height)
In tank circulation:
2 powerheads Aquaclear 802 and 402 (600gph combined)
Lighting:
2 Hamilton 250W DE 14K + 2 100W URI VHO actinic
all on electronic ballasts
Water Parameters:
SG: 1.025
Ph: 8.2
Ammonia: undetectable
Nitrite: undetectable
Nitrate: undetectable
Temp: 78
Phosphate: 0.05ppm
Calcium: 400ppm
Alkalinity: 9dkh
Water Filtration:
Kent 4 stage RO/DI w/ Hanna TDS meter

Nice tank that is pretty close to the setup im doing right now! Good to see that it works. how does that 175W MH halide do?

I upgraded a while ago, just figured I would update this info

125 gallon AGA tank with corner overflows
DIY stand and canopy
Approx. 100# rock (mostly dry rock seeded with the rock from the 75 from a local dealer, very porus looks more like 150#)
30 gallon sump/ fuge lit by 65W lights of america pc

Flow:
T4 return pump
2 Tunze 6100 on multi controller

Lighting:
3 250W DE AB MH on magnetic ballasts
4 39W T5 actinics (running sylvania bulbe right now but want to try the URI bulbs next)

Substrate:
About 300# of southdown sand, 4" dsb

Skimmer:
Precision Marine Bullet 1 with a Pan World 150ps

DIY reverse flow calcium reactor
auto top off

Inhabitants:
hippo tang
sailfin tang
4 lyretail anthias (1 male 3 female)
occilaris clown
red margin wrasse (Cirrhilabrus rubrimarginatus)
laboutei wrasse
lineatus wrasse

2 cleaner shrimp
1 coral banded shrimp

4 T. Crocea clams
T. Derasa
T. Squamosa

assorted snails, hermits, queen conch

wow looks great MG.....how old is it? The corals have nice space to grow

I hope my 125 will look like this someday....

The tank was started in March 06 but it was a transfer from my 75 gallon that had been up for a couple years. I started getting into SPS about 6 months before the upgrade. Some of the pics are a month or 2 old like the full tank shot and some things have grown out a little since then.
