55g FOWLR
Been lurking on here for awhile, and signed up last week.
So, I'm going to have a 55 gallon FOWLR, I have about 30lbs of rock now, only 1 peice is "alive", 260w PC, external overflow, Sump with bioballs, seaclone 100 skimmer (because my sump is to small), It has 60lbs of live sand.
I plan on adding about 30lbs of live rock.
I have 4 damsels now, 3 yellow tail and a green chromis.
I know I want 2 clowns but not sure what else. I'll put some pics up tonight.

Yea I plan on making my own sump out of a 20g tank. As for the balls are they bad for a fish only tank? How would you suggest I remove them? I have nothing else for bio, the rocks are "new" with no growth except one that weighs maybe 3lbs.

The bio balls should be just fine for a Fish Only system as the fish can usually withstand higher nitrate levels and that is how many tanks are run. Once your live rock becomes fully cured it will provide the bacterial filtration and you can begin removing the bio balls a little at a time. Say 25% per week for 4 weeks.
Unfortunately you are probably going to find out very soon that the SeaClone skimmer is not all it is cracked up to be. There are supposed to be some modifications you can make to it in order to get much better performance, so you may want to do a search on that.
Congrats on the tank. We are here to help as much as we can with whatever other questions you may have as well.

Looks like a good start. You will get better performance from the MaxiJet on the skimmer if you remove that pre-filter sponge.
What light fixture is that, and what bulb combination are you running?

Its an odyssea, 260w PC. 2 Actinic and 2 12k. Its very bright for a PC I think. If I wanted to add a few corals down the road, what would u guys suggest? I know I wanna bigger sump and pull the balls and put my heater in there. I also wanna upgrade my skimmer. (although its pullin some decent crap out). I plan on adding atleast 30lbs of live rock.

Under PC lighting you should be able to do most soft corals, leathers, mushrooms, ricordias, zoanthids, xenia, green star polyps, and some LPS as well such as hammer, and frogspawn.

Looks like a good start. You may learn to hate the Damsels... they are mean little devils . Supposedly the Seaclone can be made to be a decent skimmer with a lot of mods, I think it is probably better to just replace it.

Did I ever tell you about the time Brasky went hunting? Well anyway, Brasky decides he's gonna hunt down all four members of the Banana Splits. He stalks and kills every one of them with a machete. They all beg for their lives, except Fleagul.
