New Project

I just got this dosing pump off E-bay for $9.99 NEW I am going to use it for my Kalkwasser. It has a digital timer with 24 unique events each from 20sec. to 59 min. The pump spins at 100 RPM, 5 oz. per min. (148 ml per min.)
So I need to find a drip counter to further regulate the flow I think I am going to use this one off Dr. fosters:

Here are some pix of the pump:

Here is where I will mount the pump I have just enough room under the phosban reactor. The bucket on the left I am using for top off water. I have a maxi jet 1200 inside, I cant get my top off switch to work so I have to plug it in every day.

***crash***

Well a lot has happened since the last time I logged on (6-5-06) For starters my tank crashed, well actually cracked or popped a seal! I woke up on a Monday morning at 6:00 to get ready for work and had 10 or so gallons of water on the floor. (talk about having a case of the Monday's) so I call in to work drive to pet-co to buy a new 29 gal tank. well they don't have them but they do sell a 46 bow front so I pick that up and then proceed to call every glass shop in the city to get it drilled (still water coming out of the tank at this point) finally find one 40 min. away. They say they will have it done by 2:00. drive 40 min back to the house, and break the tank down. I call the glass shop at 1:30 and they said something came up and it will be ready in the morning!!! Finally get the tank and I remember I have to glue the overflow on! another 24 hours. I now have rubbermaid tubs all over my house water on the floor and no tank to put the stuff back into. After some OTHER things with work coming up that prevented me from setting the tank back up. seven days later I was able to put it back together. In the process I lost my porities, some buttons,a fiji leather, xenia, and a finger leather. but i did find a hitchhiker that has been eating my shrimp!!! my frog is still recovering and so are some buttons and the trumpet. the sponge screwed me up the most because it started receding on the back side where I couldn't see and I thought my tank was just stressed for 2 months after... but it was the sponge releasing toxins into the tank as it slowly died. now that that is gone and I have hooked up my kalkwasser drip with the dosing pump things are Finally starting to show some growth here are some pix of the disaster:
