Did they get you the standpipes (MegaFlows) for the overflows? I just did not see them in your pic's. Great start by the way...
(the MAG24 will be fine to start up your tank)

I would get a small pump say one mag 12 (1200gph)to run the sump/overflows, plus will much better match your skimmer I'd imagine.
Then get a Sequnce barracuda for a CLS. (4500gph)
This would be a much better route.
IMO!
Plus you have much better flow control and spread out a lot better!

It will be best to have each drain stay independent of each other. This will give you redundancy incase one clogs with a snail etc. One retunr split to eac hreturn will be fine and this is whay I think the had you go with a bigger pump.
You should have two holes at the bottom of each overflow. One hole is for the drain the other for the return. Do you know what size holes you got down there (in the overflows)? That can also determine the best return pump size as well. Each 1” hole should do about 600gph so that is why the 1200 gph pump is being recommended. But there are factors that reduce your flow (pipe connections elbows amount of head etc).

yea I was just thinkiing the return line to the tank from the pump there is just one hole so that would have to push water back up through each overflow!!!! I was figuring 2 pumps also but the lfs says 1?

-remove them before starting
-if you haven't gotten your pumps yet, i personally, would go with like 1-Eheim 1262 for your return...........*shoot for 3-5X display turnover per hour in gph from your return after head loss
-then you use another pump on a closed loop or use tunze or vortech p.h.'s for in tank circulation
