Looks great. DO you have trouble keeping up the substrate slop on one side? I tried that on a FW planted tank and had to make a little retaining wall to get a terrace like effect.

Did I ever tell you about the time Brasky went hunting? Well anyway, Brasky decides he's gonna hunt down all four members of the Banana Splits. He stalks and kills every one of them with a machete. They all beg for their lives, except Fleagul.

thanks... no, you can't see them because they're tucked behind the trim, but there is a vortech on either end of the tank up front. that's what the one on the left did to the sandbed...in fact i placed the barnacle rock there to keep it from doing it, but it did its thing regardless so i have a nice slope on that side. annoying at first, but i don't mind it now.

Great pics! Sorry to hear about the overheating issue. Glad to see you are recovering. What bulbs are you switching to?

what lighting are you using on that little set up? The corals seem to be doing well.

currently 6-bulbs of t5 as the primary lights.

however i just added three of the blue current usa "powerbrite" led bars, and in that picture those are the only lights lit. they really make the corals GLOW!!!

here's a pic of my hodge-podge array. the lights are a solid 24" above the water and the led's are out 7" fired in at 30* angles.
