20 gallon hexagon


I have a 20 gallon hexagon saltwater reef coral tank. I have a Marineland Bio-Wheel Power filter Penguin 200 Complete 3-Stage Filtration Filter 200 gallon per hour Four 50 gallon aquariums Rite-Size C filter cartridge, 2 Black Axil Chromis, 2 Percula Clownfish, 2 Black and White Ocellaris Clownfish, 1 Banded Coral Shrimp, Purple Reef Lobste, 1 Bubble Tip Anemone, 1 rose anemon, 15 pound of live rock and Current USA 18W SmartPaq Compact Fluorescent Lamp (2019) . The 20 gallon Hexagon tank measurements is( 20 Hexagon Exact Outside Dimensions inches L 18 3/4 x W 16 1/4 x H 20 5/8 ( Weight Empty lbs 23 )( Weight Full lbs 220 )( Tempered Bottom X )[/font]

You fit a lot of stuff into a 20 gal hex tank. Does the light get the bottom well with only 18watts of light?

I like the flow under the rocks that will help a lot once the tank starts ageing. also I have done a lot with an 18w bulb, but a little LED build would look good on it IMO.

i thought about led lights for mine , i have t5ho now and seem good so might stick with them a while longer, my tanks only 25 gallon so it's small too. i only have 2 fish had 3 but my clown went mia , i like the one at the top bottom middle pic what kind is it

Wow ! Great job! It looks so clean! I thought you had to much in there at first but it does not look crowded at all! Love your rock work! Did you use glue?

I only use glue in the small rock on top of the bigger rock.if you look my top boottom middle pic you will see a Banggai Cardinal fish and next to the fish is the small rock y glue.

I now have 2 Banggai Cardinal, 1 purple lobster, 2 Black Percula Clownfish,
4 peppermint shrimp, 2 Blue-Green chromis fish,1 Bubble pink Tip Anemone,
Mixed Kiwi Star Zoanthid, green trumpet coral, 2 mexican turbo snail, 2 Astrea snail, 4 blue legged hermit crabs, 3 red legged hermit crabs, 2 torch corals and
1 bristle worm.

Do your banggai eat flakes? I just got a pair and all they want to eat are frozen brine etc. I don't want to feed frozen daily but they are not eating flakes! What do you feed?
