180 spec's & pics


Heres the spec's on my new 180 that has been running for about 3 months. I transfered my 58 contents and sold the 58. Then added some SPS recently.

The below items are custom built by Tropical Haven in Chorpus Christi Tx.
180 Gallon Acrylic Reef Ready, Refugium, Ca Reactor, Skimmer, Fresh water Tank, Stand and Canopy.
Est 100Lbs LR

Mechanical with run times.
2 Little Giant 1050gph pumps for the returns. 24/7
"1 Return in top and 1 return behind LR at the bottom."
1 Mag 9.5 for the skimmer 24/7
1 Mag 7 for the Calcium Reactor 24/7
1 Mag 2 for the Fresh water topoff run by a custom float switch.
5 Maxijet 1200 in tank for circulation. 24/7
1 Wavemaster Pro for the MJ's 24/7

Lighting.
2 T5 Actincs 28W - ON 6am / OFF 11pm
1 Icecap 660 with 3 140W 60" bulbs. 1 Actinic / 2 50/50
ON 7am / OFF 10pm
1 400W MH with 6500 bulb - ON 8am / OFF 6pm
2 400W MH with 6500 bulbs - ON 11am / OFF 4pm
Will increase length slowly

Cooling. Runs 84-89 without fans / 80-81 with fans
Canopy - 2 Dayton 110 cfm each. ON and OFF with 1st stage MH
Stand - 1 Small oscillating fans. 24/7 with an air temp setting of 80 deg F

Parameters.
Temp - 79 in the morning - 81 after Light cycle
Sg- 1.025
Ph- 8.2 - 8.4
Ca- 420-440
Alk - 10-11
Mg - 1500+
Am- 0
Nitrate - 0
Nitrate - 0

Livestock.
1 Scopus Tang
2 Yellow Tangs
1 Bicolor Blenny
1 6-Line Wrasse
1 Black Percula Clown
1 Green Brittle Star. est 12"
1 Maxima
1 Gold teardrop Maxima
1 Crocea

Corals.
Soft
Starpolyps- Zoanthids- Sun Polyps- Candy cane- Trumpet-Finger Leather - Discoma Mushrooms - Rhodactis Mushroom- Xenias- Anthelia sp. Waving hand

Hard- All frags right now.
Birdsnest - Montipora cap - Acropora - Porites Cylindrica

Full tank, VHO only. when it was first setup.

Can I ask you more info please

Firstly the complete dimensions of the hood and cabinet seperately and secondly the brand and model numbers of each component like filtration, skimmer etc etc...

Thanks for the nice comments.

The below items are custom built by Tropical Haven in Chorpus Christi Tx.

So there is no model# on anything. Sorry. The only thing they did not make under the stand are Pumps and the Co2 tank with regulator.

I will measure the dimensions for you and post them here.

Ok. The stand is 40 inches high and the canopy is 18 inches high. The tank is a standard 6ft x 2ft x 2ft ..

Oh. the lighting has changed a little as well. I do not run the MH's any more. I added another 3 bulb 660 VHO. So now I have 2 icecap 600's with 6 60inch bulbs. 1 daylight, 2 50/50, 2 actinics, 1 super actinic. And I kept the T5's for moonlighting.
