12g nanocube reef

System:

12g nanocube, topless, with an additional output hole drilled near the bottom for added flow and a nanobob surface skimmer. Seven lbs live rock, ~1" dry coarse coral sand.

Equipment:

Light: 70w jbj viper lamp with 14k jbj bulb
Pumps: 2 x Maxijet 900 (one output static, one hydor-flo)
Heater: Visitherm Stealth 50w
pH monitor: Pinpoint
Magnet: Nimble Nano magnet
Water: Airwaterice home/reef RO/DI
Salt: Tropic Marin Pro-Reef

Livestock:
1 Fire shrimp
1 Ocellaris clown
1 Fighting conch
1 Turbo snail
1 Nassarius snail
7 lbs cured fiji rock

Set up last weekend, pH runs at about 7.9 stable. I will be using b-ionic as supplement, still playing with dosage.

Thanks guys. I wanted to make more than a rock wall, and after all that the fire shrimp was out in the light all darn day, haha.

No, no tang here. I had one in my 65g tank, but that was hardly enough room... lol!

I guess I should update my profile with reef experience, too. I'll get to it eventually. Thanks, it's good to be here

Hi ski, I really like the lamp, it is very bright and the shimmer lines are amazing (especially with all the flow in the tank.)

Thanks, Tim

I'll post more pics soon, i've added quite a few frags.
