12g Aquapod Pics.

I was trying to build the 80g but with the addition of my 2nd son I have no room for it! I wanted to get something smaller that could go anywhere in the house. Since the fish Nemo and Emo belong to my 4 year old I set it up in his room and he is fascinated with it.

It is a basic 12g tank with dual daylight bulbs, dual actinic bulbs and 2 blue led lights. The pump is rated at 160gph. I am currently using the sponge filter, ceramic media and the carbon media. All the rock in the picture started out as that snow white colored dead coral rubble. I bought a few pieces of live rock from the LFS that where no bigger then the 2 inches but they were encrusted with coraline and thats all I needed, was some spores.

The 2 fish are tanked raised and seem to be very hardy. I have had them for just about a year I guess and are getting a little bigger.

My son wanted to help decorate if you could not tell. Note the crazy turtle and the shark lol..

Edit: The picture in my avatar is what the rock started out as. Now that I got some better light I expect it will start turning out better.
