Hi, my tank is an Oceanic 120g RR. I am using a Lifereef sump, skimmer and calcium reactor. I have a secondary reactor from GEO as well. Lighting is 2 110w VHO and 2 250w HQI 10000K mini-pendants from PFO. I also have a 400w 10000K Ushio bulb in a pendant over the center brace, powered by the HQI ballast by PFO.
I have a problem with microbubbles that I am still coming to grips with, I have added 15lbs of LR to the sump. The reason for the bubbles is that I removed my sponge and filter floss from the sump, it was soaking up the foods I feed the corals. I cool the tank with two Icecap fans and air conditioning in the room.
I just added a 29g refugium to the side of the tank with a 4" sandbed and different macroalgaes. I have 180lbs of Namoli and Fiji liverock, many different critters in the rock and sand. Lots of different snails and a couple fighting conch and one queen conch.
My fish are:
2
Yellow Head Jawfish
5
Blue Reef Chromis
1 Bangaii Cardinalfish
1 Cinnamon Clownfish
1 Purple Firefish
1 Lawnmower Blenny
1 Spotted Mandarinfish
1 Purple Tang
I started this tank in February as a 58g tank and officially started up the 120g on May 23rd, 2001.
I spend a lot of time on Reef Central, but followed Horge over here and will spend some time here as well. Hope to talk to you all soon!!!
