I'm in the midst of setting up the Portland site. Right now I'm hosting it off my own site at: http://www.trancium.com/pnwmas. One obstacle I'm running into is offering a decent reason for people to visit the site when this board serves every purpose I can think of for our group already. Sure I can always inject aesthetic value, but I need more than aesthetics to really add practical value to the site. Any thoughts? thanks in advance.

Mark ... definately coming along. It is nice to have a more local spot on the web for our site.

Piero ... The only thing I can offer is that a club's website should be the one and only location for membership info, club meeting details, club event news and pictures, etc ... If it is just discussing that is wanted, a place like this serves it's purpose. As a matter of fact we link to our forum here from the site to let people know that there is a place on the internet to converse with others in the hobby in their area. As you can see our site isn't that fancy, but the main purpose it serves is to get the info out ...

As you can see on this forum, we are just starting to get things rolling. Hopefully we will be pulling more and more members over to this forum for discussion.
